Kelly Begnoche

Throughout my life I have always loved meeting new people. To learn about what drives others and to share a safe space together where all parties feel heard, appreciated, and accepted is what brings me joy. I enjoy challenging myself to learn new things, get into new hobbies, and to explore different activities or experiences.

I am a very empathetic person, who truly wants all others to reach their full potential of academic/social success that they envision for themselves. This passion of mine has lead me into the career path I have been in since 2019. Below you will read about my academic experience and notice a change from focusing on how countries communicate and survive to focusing on helping to show individuals how to reach their full potential, no matter what barriers come in their way.

I am a graduate from the University of North Florida (UNF), where I majored in International Relations and Politics with a minor in Spanish for my bachelors. During the summer 2015 I studied at the Universidad de Alcala in Spain where I focused on International Policies as well as European Union Politics. After I graduated in December 2015, I realized that I needed to be working in a field where I can help others. A field where I can work on communication skills, career paths, conflict resolution, and even social/emotional wellbeing. Summer 2018 I began my Masters Degree at University of North Florida in School Counseling. In 2019, my colleague and I were keynote speakers at Northumbria University in England to showcase the importance of access to counseling for school-aged children. December 2020 I graduated from UNF with a Masters in Education: School Counseling. At the time of graduation, I was already working full time in a private school as a counselor before transitioning into a public school setting.

I have a wide range of ample experience since I have always enjoyed learning new things and working. I have worked in customer service, food and beverage management, data analysis, data tracking/reporting, counseling in private schools, and counseling in public schools.
