Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Overview



The MBA provides students with both comprehensive courses in foundation subjects and specialised focusses in business administration; it develops skills in critical thinking and strategic planning for changing and fast-paced environments, including financial and operational analysis; and it develops competences in leadership, including autonomous decision-making, and communication with employees, stakeholders, and other members of a business.



The degree has a capstone project consisting of digital internships and case studies, in which students are grouped into cohorts and must work together on a real business problems. Over the course of the capstone, students use multidisciplinary approaches to perform critical analyses of real business issues in situations of uncertainty and incomplete information and develop an actionable solution, which is presented and assessed at the end of the capstone.

Who is this Programme for?



The course is suited for executives and general business managers in organisations of all sizes and types, or for those who will soon move into such management positions. It is designed for those that will have responsibility for planning, organising, and directing business operations. In all cases, students should be prepared to pursue substantial academic work.



Requirements



Candidates who apply for this course must have an MQF 6 level degree and at least 3 years of post-qualification experience, including management or supervisory experience; or have at least 7 years of executive business management experience with an MQF 5 qualification. English language competency at an IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent) is required of all applicants.
