Mechanics I

This module is aimed at the first year of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering course. It forms the foundation of the principles of engineering including solid mechanics, dynamics and statics of bodies. It covers the equilibrium of forces as applied to engineering problems, laboratory work to validate fundamental theories relating to Newton’s laws. Mechanics of Machines, Rotational and linear notions complete with kinematics in two and three dimensions will be learnt.
