I am an education leader and a dedicated practitioner who has served as a teacher, principal, curriculum and content specialist, mentor, consultant and thought leader. I have led and conducted numerous workshops for school educators and leaders across India and Middle East.



With over three decades in the field of Education and still discovering the wonders of this profession, I am passionate and committed to the belief that every child can learn. I strongly believe that we are at the threshold of a worldwide revolution in learning. Just as the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, the wall of conventional schooling is collapsing before our eyes. A new electronic learning environment is replacing the linear, text-bound culture of conventional schools.



Widely recognised as an ambassador for progressive education with a focus on designing and delivering progressive curriculum, practices pertaining to curriculum reform, instructional strategies that encourage critical and reflective thinking and strategic planning, I view education as the ultimate tool of empowerment and believe in ‘whole person’ education rooted deep in values and ethics.



As a dedicated practitioner in the field of innovative teaching and learning methodologies, through my Masters degree in Education and Teacher Leadership, I have acquired great insights in the field of curriculum design, instruction and assessment, cultural differences, awareness and identity.



As a practitioner, the passion and experience for new technologies has led me to develop and practice various teaching and learning resources. I have been associated with training, coaching and mentoring teachers and school teams on various educational improvement programmes to enhance their understanding of pedagogies and strategic school improvement.



Currently my area of interest is “How leadership practices in a school can impact the learning and achievement of students”.
