Oumaima Elghazali

Dr. Oumaima Elghazali is currently a University Lecturer of English Communication and Soft skills at ENSIAS school, Mohammed V University. She previously worked as the Youth Development Programming and Training Specialist at Peace Corps Morocco. Oumaima earned her doctorate in the field of Educational and Intercultural Exchange and Skills Development in Youth from the 'Language, Culture and Society' Doctoral Program at the Faculty of Letters at Mohammed V University in Rabat. Oumaima has more than ten years of experience in intercultural exchange, youth development, and volunteerism. She joined World Merit Morocco, a youth-led organization in Morocco, in 2018 and has served in different capacities since. She also has experience in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and received a CELTA certificate from Cambridge University. Oumaima earned her master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching from the Faculty of Education affiliated with Mohammed V University in Rabat and her BA in English Studies with a major in Linguistics from the faculty of Letters at Ibn Zorh University in Agadir. In addition, Oumaima is a US Department of State Exchange Alum, having earned the scholarship to participate in the Kennedy Lugar Youth Exchange and Study program in 2009-2010 in Virginia Beach, VA state in the USA. She speaks four languages, Tamazight, Arabic, French and English.
