She led a team building formative assessment tools at Amplify Education, and partnership development at CK-12 Foundation, a provider of open source educational content.

Santiago is originally from Bogota Colombia.



He studied at Colegio San Carlos and pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Universidad de los Andes. Following that he continued his graduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he obtained a Master's and Ph.D. in Mathematics with a focus on Mathematical Logic and Asymptotic Differential Equations.



He worked teaching at Illinois Wesleyan University, and then worked for the University of Illinois. FOllowing this he joined Wolfram Research, creators of Mathematica and Wolfram Alpha, and is currently teaching the Mathematical Thinking Course for Kibo.
