Turing College

A full member of Woolf, a Higher Education Institution in Europe.

Turing College is an online AI college for working professionals. We train AI, ML, data science, analytics and engineering in 6-24 months and help to get a job or a raise afterward.

Students learn from experts that worked at Cambridge, Stanford Universities, Amazon, IBM, Vinted, etc.

We’re the world’s first accredited college to offer a unique methodology focused on supporting busy professionals.

First, students get 1on1 feedback from industry experts & AI-tutor making learning similar to the real-world tech team experience.

Second, our programs are self-paced and flexible - students learn anywhere, anytime. Instead of lectures, we have 1on1 meetings, and flexible office hours. This means that you can organize a study schedule that works for you.

Third, our programs are project-based. Our master's degree has ~36 practical projects. That’s 2-3x more than any other college offer!

In 2023, Fortune featured Turing College bootcamp as one of the best places to learn Data Science & Analytics.

Degrees

Master of Science in Data Science

Master of Science in Data Science

ECTS Accredited (EQF7)

The course teaches students comprehensive and specialised subjects in data science; it develops sophisticated skills in statistics, mathematical modelling, and the ability to code in support of such analyses. It further grounds students in the disciplinary history and methodology of data science, preparing them for either further study or to work as a practitioner in the field. The program prominently features a major capstone project, requiring students to identify a real-world problem that would benefit from a data-driven approach; to collect and prepare the data to address the problem; and to build visualisations in support of their arguments. The combination of rigorous mathematical training with practical approaches gives learners the ability to autonomously further develop their skills after graduation, turning them into lifelong learners of data science methods.

I believe that the creation of beneficial Artificial Intelligence will be the most important technological development in human history, with the potential to shape the trajectory of humanity.

At Genus AI we are working on enabling consumer brands to double the efficiency of their customer acquisition via paid social channels using novel ML technologies that allow predictive content generation, campaign modelling and customer archetyping.

I have completed my PhD in Computational Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge where I studied genetic and molecular mechanisms of behavior. I have completed my MPhil in Computational Biology at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge where I studied machine learning, statistics and biological system modelling.

For the past eight years, I have built and managed data science teams in both the private and public sectors and pioneered applications of machine learning algorithms and AI in real world scenarios.

I have dedicated my career to creating new and improved ways of digital learning that have a global impact.

These include EDUKA Dienynas and EDUKA Klasė - the leading LMS platform in Lithuania. When I joined as Head of Technology, EDUKA Klasė was only being used by a handful of schools. I oversaw its rapid adoption and helped it navigate a huge increase in users (up tp 20x growth in one month) during the COVID-19 lockdown. I have also worked in a London-based startup with top UK teachers, leading the development of an online platform used across the UK and in Latin America.

My strong background in tech helps me turn edtech ideas into reality. I graduated with First Class Honours in Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh, worked as a front-end lead at Western Union (leading a team spread across San Francisco, Vilnius and Noida), and co-founded a web development agency Appmakers.

In my current role as Head of Education at Turing College, the first Lithuanian startup to be accepted to Y Combinator, I am responsible for creating and evolving Turing College's unique educational methodology. I bring my experience of having managed and led various IT companies, as well as my deep understanding of education to this role in order to help ensure that our learners gain the skills they need to be successful data science employees.
